Lemonade Crunchy Ice isn’t as old as many of the other popular nursery rhymes and clapping songs, as it’s been around since the 1980s only.
How To Play Lemonade, Crunchy Ice Game
A fairly simple rhyme, it can be either used as a hand game with others or sung out loud. At the end of the song, the participants have to turn around, touch the ground, and then freeze in a pose. The first person to move loses.
The clapping game can either be done as a pair, or more children can do it together, sitting in a circle and clapping with their partner on either side. This is a lot more challenging as it’s quite tricky to clap with a different person to both the left and the right!
Slight wording variations can be found in different cities, but the chant remains the same overall. Today, this fun hand-clapping game is popular in America but across Asia too.
